Americana Media Consulting owner David Bishop
has spent nearly twenty years working in media
communications as a television reporter,
producer, media spokesperson and in public
affairs. David spent three years as an aide to
former Florida Governor Jeb Bush where he served
as a Legislative and Communications Director.
Bishop has also served as Communications
Director for the Florida Senate Majority Office,
Florida Secretary of State and Florida
Department of Community Affairs. |
Before his career in the public sector, David was
a television news reporter and anchor at the CBS affiliate in Tallahassee, Florida.
Bishop has also worked on numerous statewide, legislative and local political campaigns,
primarily producing television commercials and websites. Americana Media has been honored with
prestigious "Pollie" Awards by the American Association of Political Consultants for four
straight years for their campaign websites.
David is a native Floridian. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science degree from
Florida State University.
